Name of Product: Sensory Grab Garb blankets (also known as "Crinkles")

Hazard: Wire-edged ribbon used in the blankets ribbon tags can become exposed, posing a laceration hazard to children.

Remedy: Refund, Replace

Consumers should immediately stop using these Sensory Grab Garb blankets and return them to the store where purchased for a full refund or a replacement Grab Garb blanket.

Description: The Sensory Grab Garb blanket is a 6-inch square of soft fabric with crinkle paper inside and ribbon tags in the middle of each of the four sides. One side of the Grab Garb blanket contains a white satin ribbon tag with the words “Goochie Goo Garbs” on it. The polka-dot ribbon tags (shown below) are black, blue, green, pink or red ribbons with white polka-dots. The Grab Garb blankets come in a variety of juvenile patterns including shapes, animals and superhero themes. Only the 6-inch square Sensory Grab blankets with colored polka-dot ribbon tags attached to the side of the blanket are included in the recall.

Sold at: Various Children’s specialty stores in Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Pennsylvania from July 2014 through March 2015 for about $10.
